A typographic exploration of the Univers's natural wonders

Assateague Island National Seashore

By John Malinoski

i liked not loved that upon approach to the beach
we were met by 2 women carrying a whale bone on a stick
prior to our visit i was thinking about bones and ship wrecks
i did not like that people were feeding wild ponies from their cars
you are no supposed to do this
i thought about the thickness of hides and underbrush
i'm too thin skinned to make it through a summer with the ponies
everyone seemed happy and genuinely surprised
i wonder about the mystery of the ponies
the light was special
but i am not sure we should be there
so fragile
