I am a Creative Director by day, puppy mom to an adorable Golden Retriever, and weekend warrior rock climber. I'm constantly trying to learn and challenge myself in my practice & figure out all there is to know in this beautiful & crazy world. This project introduced me to O'ahu Tree Snails, and I feel so fortunate to be the one to bring some awareness to them.

O'ahu Tree Snails are simple and beautiful little creatures that inhabit Hawaii. Currently, all 41 species are endangered and only 11 of the 41 can be found. They have traditionally been referenced in Hawaiian folklore and collected for their beautiful shells to be used in ornaments and leis. These little creatures may not be the first that comes to mind when endangered species are thought of, but certainly shouldn't be forgotten. I want them to be seen for what they are, and I aimed to create a design that honored their simplicity and beauty.
