Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area
I grew up really close to the Santa Monica Mountains. I always prefered to drive the local and scenic route through the mountains to get to the beach. It was beautiful to see both the desert and rocky beaches of the Mountains which are a piece of home that I will always cherish.
